This catalogue was developed to showcase a selection of Dar es Salaam’s terrestrial biodiversity. Dar es Salaam falls within the East African Coastal Forest biodiversity hotspot of global significance. This is an exceptional natural resource and some of the biodiversity elements seen here can be found nowhere else in the world.
