Bucaramanga, Colombia
Metropolitan Forest Nursery
The project aims to establish a metropolitan nursery to produce high-quality native forest and ornamental plant material, supporting biodiversity conservation and ecological restoration in the Bucaramanga Metropolitan Area. By producing native plant species locally, the nursery will improve their availability and affordability, reduce reliance on external suppliers, and support revegetation efforts. Ultimately, this initiative will contribute to the recovery of degraded areas and the long-term conservation of Bucaramanga’s natural ecosystems.
